I've got about 13 tracks for my Brazilian Jazz CD, "Archipelago", (it may gain, lose or stay the same by one song, haven't decided yet). So far there is one cover," The Girl From Ipanema". one co-written the rest are originals.
The basic tracks are coming along well (percussion &/drums, Acoustic Steel, Bass, reference vocals) and I am working on refining the lyrics (~70% there overall). My original goal was to have the album finished by July 2012, I still am hoping I can be close to that ETA, but my recent visit to China wasn't taken into consideration and I still don't have one of the guitars I plan on using on this project, so time will tell.
